Tower Hamlets is full of people doing quiet, everyday things that make a real difference to how they feel. Trying a new activity. Finding a group they didn’t know existed. Making a small change that turned out to matter more than they expected.
We want to hear those stories. Not the polished ones. The real ones.
Maybe you went along to something on your own and weren’t sure you’d fit in. Maybe a health check flagged something you’d been ignoring. Maybe you just found a class that finally felt like it was designed for someone like you and made some great friends.
We’re also interested in the bigger moments. The wake-up calls. The diagnosis that changed everything. The moment you realised you wanted to be fit enough to run around after your kids, so you quit smoking. The cholesterol result that made you finally take things seriously. The day you ran a half-marathon, learned to swim, or just made it up the stairs without stopping to catch your breath!
Those stories are sometimes the most useful ones of all. Not because they’re scary, but because they’re honest. Think of it as giving your past self the advice you wish you’d had, and sharing it with someone who might need to hear it today.
Whatever it is, if it happened in Tower Hamlets and it’s got something to do with feeling better, being more active, eating well or feeling more connected, we want to know.
Get in touch at info@wellone.co.uk and tell us a little about yourself and what happened. We might get in touch to find out more. And if we do write your story, you’ll get to check it before it goes anywhere.
