Spotlight is an award-winning youth centre offering safe, welcoming spaces for young people aged 11–19, and for SEND young people up to 25.
Located near Langdon Park DLR, Spotlight provides free, inspiring programmes co-designed with young people, supported by skilled youth workers and trusted partners. From creative arts and sports to health services and leadership opportunities, Spotlight helps young people grow, connect, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Activities include:
Creative Arts: Music production, dance, film, fashion, and art workshops.
Sports and Fitness: Boxing, fitness classes, and team sports.
Health and Wellbeing: Access to a youth GP service, mental health support, and wellbeing programmes.
Skills and Careers: Leadership programmes, employability workshops, and creative industry partnerships.
Community and Social Events: Open mic nights, performances, and cultural festivals.
Spotlight’s main hub is at 30 Hay Currie Street, E14 6GN, but sessions also run at other community spaces across Tower Hamlets, including St Paul’s Way Centre and Linc Centre.
Activities are offered 5 days a week, at the various centres.
