Family Cycle Training – Bartlett Park
Learn to cycle together as a family in a fun, supportive environment.
Bikeworks is running weekly Family Cycle Training sessions in Bartlett Park, designed for beginners and improvers alike.
Each family has their own instructor and a course tailored to their goals. Sessions take place on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm, from 1 November to 20 December.
Bikes and helmets are available to borrow for free from the Bartlett Park Community Cycles Hub. Participants must live, work or study in Tower Hamlets, and children aged 5–16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet at the Bartlett Park Hub, near the “Community Cycles at Bartlett Park” sign.

The sessions are free, with a refundable £5 deposit required to confirm your place.

How much does the session cost?
The course is free, but Bikeworks requires a fully refundable £5 deposit, returned upon completion of the session. Deposits cannot be refunded for cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice.
I don't have a bike, how can I join in?
Bikes and helmets are available to borrow free of charge!
My child is 6, can they take a lesson?
Yes! Children are welcome from age 5. Young people 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
